Bread with Purpose: Our Partnership with City Harvest 🌍 🍞

At Leaven & Co, we believe great bread can do more than nourish; it can contribute to positive change. In 2024, through our 10+ year partnership with City Harvest, we donated over 160,000 pounds of bread and pastries, helping to feed 53,000 families in need across New York City. Thank you so much to the fabulous Fab from City Harvest for picking up the latest shipment! Together, we’re making an incredible impact on our community, one loaf at a time.

Furthermore, by redistributing food that might otherwise go to waste, City Harvest reports that our contributions have helped prevent more than 46,000 pounds of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere. That’s bread doing double duty: feeding families and protecting the planet.

We’re deeply proud of this ongoing collaboration, and it’s all thanks to the chefs, restaurateurs, and partners like you who work with us every day.
